My prayers are with you and your family. In yesterday’s homily, our priest spoke about heroes and how we try to emulate what they do and who they are. He said if we can make Jesus our hero and on a daily basis think on what he had done for us and how he would handle situations as they arise. We as a whole would be kinder, more loving souls. He said these are the kind of heroes we need today.

Don’t try to avoid responsibility by saying you didn’t know about it. For God knows all hearts, and He sees you. He keeps watch over your soul, and He knows you knew! And He will judge all people according to what they have done.

This is such a great post! Change is the only constant, and as human beings as people who are meant to grow, change must be part of that.
A commitment to change is much easier when it is clearly defined, when you know where you want to go and then when you have taken the time to find out what actions you need to put forth in order to accomplish this.

Thank you for your eloquence and your challenge for all of us to take a good hard look at what we WANT our lives to be!

Great advice – keeping your “why” in mind at all times definitely helps to stay motivated and on track.

Thanks for the invitation to come and read what you have been writing- it is inspiring to me, Thank you! I get a strong sense of what might be a new sort of seriousness about life for you. I am right there with you my friend. We live in challenging times and it is our job, privilege or mission to help people see beyond the deception that most all of us have been taught and the fear that the deception creates in people. When people are in fear, they can be subject to look outside themselves for saviors or people promising to make it all better, and in the process they may be unknowingly giving up the personal freedom it takes to rise up into the wisdom that all of us seek that is laying all about us.

Stay the course Trent, walk this walk and focus on creating value for all those good people- they all make a difference, and you can make a big difference in this world by helping them to gain the inner strength & faith that is the only thing that can really carry any of us forward in times of challenge.

You are right on point! It is so important to laser focus. The challenge is disciplining ourselves to stay on track despite all the distractions that come along. I use index cards a lot and it’s a very powerful way to help stay focused. I also put messages/goals on business sized cards and keep them on my dash board as well.
